The Ocean is appealing, but it can’t sync its calendar app with a desktop app. As a workaround, I’m thinking of using Google Calendar and SMS… query GCal using SMS text messages and getting my next appointment, or the day’s appointments back in an SMS message. But, Google doesn’t show Helio in their supported carriers list. I’m wondering if this will work with Helio, and especially with the Ocean. I realize Helio uses Sprint, and Sprint is supported. Is that enough, or is this capability phone-dependent? As you have an Ocean and seem to be giving it a good workout, have you tried SMS messages with GCal? Could you try? I’m outside the target demographic for Helio, but really like the Ocean, and would like to drop my Pocket PC… just need to have access to my schedule!
